The Story of Rainbow after the Storm

2020 was a truly challenging year, but I am optimistic about the future.

I lost my wife in 2017 and my only sister in 2018, but when you meet me, I hope you see my optimism for life. Every day I choose to see the good and the beauty possible in the world, I choose to remember the best of the past, and I choose to forget and forgive.

As a symbol of my optimism, I created my "Rainbow after the Storm (of 2020)" Bonbon cocktail ring. I believe that we will survive this storm, and that we will find the rainbow afterwards.

Whether this rainbow represents the future after 2020, or after another personal storm, I hope that you are able to find some beauty and optimism for your future, remember cherished memories, and take the opportunity to forget or forgive some of the things that don't bring joy to your life. I believe that you deserve this happiness, as you deserve to be honored.

My Favorite Parts of this Ring

Since I wanted to capture the extreme beauty of a rainbow, I felt like I had to do something completely irreverent, so I reverse-set each stone.  Then, to support the unfamiliar reflections of these typically hidden facets, I created a new geometry to reveal their brilliance on a woman’s hand and reflect a little rainbow magic.

I must confess, I am in love with my Bonbon design. Small enough for every day, but significant enough to have recognizable power, every time I hold a Bonbon in my hand, I feel its magic, and I can’t help but smile.

I chose to name this collection after my favorite chocolate confection, the bonbon, because I believe there is a special magic in exploring a box of exquisite chocolates.  With each piece, there is the potential to find yourself in its unique flavor and reveal a special joy.  My hope is that I can create Bonbons as diverse as your strengths, and that your Bonbon captures a little magic for you.
