The Story of Moonrise

My sister had a lunar, a large circular birthmark, that was surgically removed when she was a child.  I have always wondered if it would have been more powerful to have kept it. 

The ancients had a clear understanding of the power of the moon, and these birthmarks implied a sacred relationship with the heavens.   My sister clearly had an intimate relationship with the universe, and even though she had a scar instead of a symbol on her arm, she reflected the beauty of the moon clearly.

Women get more strength from the moon than men, and this ring is meant to harness that advantage.

My Favorite Parts of this Ring

I love this ring because it is a surprise.  A mirrored top hides a fantastic set of all black hidden jewels.  To me the reflection of this ring is a subtle reminder that the light around us can bring us together.
