RE Shield for Arts (March 2021 - ongoing)
Both my sister and I made incredible friendships at Ransom Everglades, but Ransom's magic is deeper than those special memories. I have always been impressed with how impactful my education there was.
After graduating, I went on to study Applied & Engineering Physics at Cornell University, and my sister studied Fine Arts at Columbia University. I believe that this was only possible because Ransom was committed to giving us each a complete education.
For both Bea and I, art was a huge part of that balance, and we were both taught by Astrid Dalins, who is still inspiring Ransom students (both future fine artists and engineers), to create beauty in this world.
Even though Bea died in 2018, my hope is that by donating 100% of the proceeds of the RE Shield ring to the Arts Fund at Ransom Everglades, others will find the opportunity to see the world as she did.
Superpower for Color of Change (August 2020 - ongoing)
My mission with Pharaoun is to celebrate and honor all women, but not everyone starts at the same place. The Black community has suffered gross injustice, and I want to recognize that suffering and do what I can to help the Black community specifically.
To do so, I am donating 100% of the proceeds of my Superpower rings to Color of Change (colorofchange.org), because they will not stop until justice is real. The sooner that comes the better.
Superpower for Color of Change
Pink Sea Urchin for Breast Cancer (August 2020 - ongoing)
My love for the ocean is a big part of my heart, but not as big as my love for my wife Sarah, who died of metastatic breast cancer in 2017.
While doctors and scientists work tirelessly to discover a cure for cancer, there is already one thing we can do to save countless lives: we can bring the current standard of care to everyone that needs it. Thousands of women die from breast cancer because they don’t have access to the medical care they need, but the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (komen.org) is trying to change that.
I believe in health care equality, and even though as captain of the Pink Key Society team, we raised over $9000 last year to give access to services to those that need it, I need to do more.
I am donating 100% of the purchase price of my Pink Sea Urchin rings to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (komen.org). These women don’t need to die from this horrible disease, if only they all had access to the medical services they deserve.
100% of your purchase will be donated to Susan G. Komen, so I am personally donating all of the costs for your ring to match your generosity.
America for No Kid Hungry (April-July 2020)
Life on a normal day is difficult. With the onslaught of COVID-19 and the secondary consequences, we need to work together to move forward.
I am very happy to be donating 100% of the proceeds of my America ring to No Kid Hungry (nokidhungry.org), an amazing organization dedicated to feeding children. Please help me make a difference.
Silver Lining for Kristi House (November 2019 - August 2020)
For some boys and girls, it may seem as though the clouds will never go away. It's on those days, that we are so fortunate to have Kristi House as a ray of hope for our community. Kristi House has helped thousands of children and their families to see their Silver Lining on their darkest days.
I am donating 100% of the proceeds from this Silver Lining Ring to Kristi House Child Advocacy Center (kristihouse.org). Kristi House provides a safe place for survivors of child sexual abuse and trafficking to reclaim their personal power.
We are Beautiful for SONG (August 2019 - ongoing)
I believe that equality is a basic human right, and I am excited that with each generation we improve our understanding of what it means to be equal. My sister understood this intuitively, and lived a beautiful example for us to follow. She also worked with a number of organizations pushing forward equality, and there was one which was particularly special to her, and now to me.
I am donating 100% of the purchase price of my We are Beautiful ring to Southerners on New Ground (southernersonnewground.org), an amazing organization dedicated to civil rights.
100% of your purchase will be donated to SONG, so I am personally donating all of the costs for your ring to match your generosity.
Anaïs for Breast Cancer (February 2019 - ongoing)
My daughter’s favorite rings are always rosado, and this pink version of Herculaneum is named after her.
I come from a long line of fantastically beautiful women, but in general, they have been so naturally blessed, that they did not need to be very feminine. I overreacted, and married the most feminine woman I could find, and was blessed to have a daughter that is also very feminine. My grandmother Ita says that a woman’s femininity is her greatest power. I don’t know if that is true, but I think it is definitely worth considering. My grandmother’s advice is always very good.
Pink also happens to be the rallying color for the war against breast cancer. My wife Sarah died from metastatic breast cancer, and I do not want my daughter to die. This ring is my daughter Anaïs’ favorite color, but it also captures my hope that we can prevent all of our daughters from dying from this terrible disease. I am donating 100% of the purchase price of my Anaïs ring to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (bcrf.org). I need to. I am scared, and want to be optimistic about my daughter’s future health.
100% of your purchase will be donated to BCRF, so I am personally donating all of the costs for your ring to match your generosity.
